One of my biggest regrets when I was going to college was not getting a computer science degree. Although I was at one of the top computer science universities, I was interested in other areas. You see, I have always wanted to write and form a career around literature. At the time, I thought a creative writing degree would serve me best. Nowadays, I see things a little bit differently. If I’d gone to a top computer university, it would have made things a lot easier for me. It would have provided me with a steady source of income for my writing career.
The problem is that, even in a top computer science university, it is hard to tell if the program is any good until you have completed it. This was the problem I ran into in school. The first couple classes were what are called
